Artists
The Artists view shows every artist in your library. Each row shows artwork (or a fallback album cover), name, and stats. The right side shows a large artwork panel with the artist’s biography pulled from Last.fm via Navidrome — when present, a “Read more on Last.fm” button opens the full bio in your browser.
For navigation, search, multi-select, ratings, and shared right-click actions, see Library Basics.
Sort modes
Section titled “Sort modes”- Name (default), Favorited, Most Played, Album Count, Song Count, Rating, Random
Album Artists vs. Track Artists
Section titled “Album Artists vs. Track Artists”In Settings → General, the Show Album Artists Only toggle controls whether collaborators / track-only artists show up in this view. With it on, only artists with explicit album-artist tags appear — keeping the list tighter for libraries with lots of features and one-off contributors.
Three-tier expansion
Section titled “Three-tier expansion”The Artists view supports two levels of inline expansion:
Shift + Enteron an artist expands their albums below the row.Shift + Enteron an expanded album (or clicking its “N songs” text) expands that album’s tracks below it.
Shift + Enter again on any row collapses that level. Changing sort or search clears all expansion state.
Each level supports the standard Add to Queue / Add to Playlist / Get Info / Show in File Manager right-click actions.
